LANTERN, LIGHT, SNUFF, TORCH

These commands are used to turn on and off a light source on the ground. For instance, you can drop a lantern and light lantern to have it shed light, then

snuff
lantern

at sunrise.

Items that give light are, for example, torches (hold and light it) or lanterns (you can hold it or wear it on your belt). Lanterns can be refilled when they run out of oil.

Examples:

  > wear lantern belt
  > light lantern
  > snuff lantern

If you have rented and log back in, any light source you hold or wear will be automatically lit (even if previous snuffed or covered).

Note: When in an emergency, it is possible to fashion crude torches from a campfire by typing get torch fire.
