HOLD

The Command

Use the hold command to get a good grip on something; a torch or a staff for example.

Example:

  > hold lantern

This is very similar to wear, but first tries to hold the item on the shield position and then the wield position.

The Spell

There is also a spell called hold:

Position    : Standing
Level       : Level 16
Class       : Cleric
Min. Mana   : 25

With this incantation, one of the most powerful of the black arts, you can paralyze victims. While paralyzed they will be powerless to move and you can butcher them where they stand.

To master this skill, deep insight and an iron will are required.
