CHANGE
This is a general command to change one of your parameters.
Use change <parameter>
, where
<parameter> is one of the following:
alertness

changes how much attention you pay to hidden people and combat |
ansifilter

turns removal of special characters in whoises on and off |
autoexits
|
set whether to show exits when entering rooms |
autoride
|
set whether to automatically ride or lead with your leader |
beep

set whether others can beep you |
class

changes the class displayed next to your name |
colour
|
highlights certain text in colour to make it more noticeable |
compact
|
change whether to get a newline before prompt or not |
description
|
changes the description others see when they look at you (1) |
editor
|
selects your editor for writing text |
encoding

change which character encoding to use for text from the mud |
eqorder

customise equipment display order |
height
|
sets the number of lines before a page break for pager |
hints

toggle display of new player advice |
incognito

change how you show up in who and
whois

selects another language to speak (2) |

determines your connection's inactivity timeout |

also applies to your description. - Remember to use one of the "standard languages" (whiteside: Westron) if you want to be understood by all players when using the Forgotten Tales (also known as narrating).
